Job Role : Sr. Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Should be a good team player – willing to work as part of team as well as individual contributor.
• Develop features across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Understand how our applications operate, are structured/integrated/deployed, and how customers use them.
• Proficiency in developing and troubleshooting complex software systems that run in mixed-environments including Linux, Unix and/or Windows.
• Provide engineering support (when necessary) to our technical operations staff when they are building, deploying, configuring and supporting systems for customers.
• Participate with the engineering and operations teams to define plans for standardizing, scaling and enhancing our products and the services utilized to deploy/install/release those products.
• Participate in interactions with customers as a technical expert for product subsystems.
• Investigate, analyse and make recommendations to management regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications.
• Other duties from time to time as determined by management.
• Effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Having excellent programming skills and problem solving skills.
• Should be a quick learner.
• Should be flexible to work (or willing to learn) with new technologies.
• Should have hands on with .Net and Microsoft based technologies.
• Having exposure to Web based technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, JQuery.
• Having experience in writing Multithreaded Applications.
• Having knowledge of Windows command line scripting (PowerShell) is a plus.
• Having good exposure NodeJS will be a plus.
• Experience with UI based technologies like AngularJS will be a plus.
• Experience with Agile software development is a plus.
