Job purpose

The main purpose of this role is to prepare tax returns and other informational forms as prescribed by the US Internal Revenue Service. You will have to analyze client data and prepare work papers. You will also validate client data, interacting with the US teams.

Your client responsibilities:
  • Validate client data, interacting with U.S. teams.
  • Analyzing client data and prepare work papers.
  • Analyze information in the documents or in the internal software system to take further steps of processing.
  • Determine missing information and follow-up with your team lead.
  • Convert data into a compliance product by entering it in the application.
  • Verify the accuracy of the data entry; perform quality assurance / self assurance checks.
  • Maintain accurate, well organized information and update the Lead on the status of work.
  • Prepare tax returns and other informational forms as prescribed by the Internal Revenue Service.
  • Deliver high quality product, within stipulated time.
  • Project Management- assisting in documentation of processes along with project management team.
  • Multi - Tasking on various projects.
  • Comply with the Ernst & Young Compliance Procedure.

We are looking for candidates with the following:
  • Graduate/Post graduate in a finance, numerical or statistical background.
  • CA-Inter/ICWAI -Inter is desirable.
  • At least 0-2 years of experience.
  • Excellent quantitative/numeric, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good computer skills and Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to learn and assimilate new information quickly and effectively.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic, creative and flexible.

You will need:
  • Significant practical experience in dealing with and resolving a range of data anomalies.
  • Experience of how data is sourced and used in research is ideal.
  • Ability to challenge/reason out a process.
  • Candidate from a research, financial support services or audit background.
  • Experience level in a similar industry for at least 1 year preferred.
