Role Mission:


  • The Application Support carries out user support, identifies defects and proposes changes and improvement activities for a specific application.
  • This role occurs at Professional Development Steps B and C.
  • Role Context
  • The Application Support is mainly working in the Operate process.
  • Responsibilities and Powers
Desired Profile:
  • Support users by explaining system capabilities and solving problems.
  • Identify actual and potential software defects.
  • Propose changes and improvement activities that make the application more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance cost.
  • Participate in the planning of applications maintenance and enhancement activities.
  • Authorized to make commitments that fall within the tasks given by customer / maintenance manager.
  • In general, responsibilities are the same as at step B but the assignments typically are larger and more complex

  • Additional responsibilities at Professional Development Step C

Financial responsibilities


  • Education and / or Experience Recommended

Basic IT education

  • Additional experience recommended at Professional Development Step C
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Application Support at step B
